Today, July 1, 2026, Vantage Economic Forum (VEF), a new editorial platform developed by Vietnam Report JSC, officially launches.

The world is entering an era in which competitive advantage is no longer determined primarily by capital scale or natural resources. Instead, the true strength of a business, an economy, or a nation increasingly lies in the quality of its knowledge, the depth of its analytical capabilities, and its ability to engage with the major currents shaping the global landscape.

In this environment, businesses need more than information. They need trusted perspectives to make sense of change, rigorous analysis to identify emerging trends before they become reality, and a platform where academic insight meets business practice.

That is why Vantage Economic Forum was created.

VEF is a premium platform for economic knowledge and analysis designed for Vietnam’s business leadership community. More importantly, it serves as a direct bridge to Boston—one of the world’s foremost centers of intellectual leadership, home to Harvard University, MIT, and a vibrant community of globally influential thought leaders and innovators.

VEF aims to cultivate a forum for dialogue on economics, business, and management, where every analysis is crafted as an intellectual contribution, every corporate story is told with substance rather than superficial achievements, and every perspective is placed within the broader context of global transformation.

Its name reflects this mission. Vantage represents a vantage point—a position where global academic excellence intersects with the practical realities of Vietnamese enterprises. From this perspective, Vietnamese businesses can engage with the world through higher standards of analysis and understanding, while the international community gains a deeper appreciation of Vietnam through stories grounded in accuracy, intellectual rigor, and meaningful context.

What distinguishes VEF is not only its content, but also the intellectual foundation upon which that content is built.

VEF is supported by the Boston Global Forum and the AI World Society (AIWS) Initiative. This partnership provides a unique intellectual advantage unmatched by any existing economic content platform in Vietnam. Beyond enhancing credibility, it creates opportunities for Vietnamese research, business stories, and perspectives to participate in leading international dialogues on economics, technology, and public policy.

Through the Boston Global Forum’s global network, VEF also serves as a direct connection between Vietnamese businesses and scholars and experts from Harvard Business School, the MIT Sloan School of Management, and many of the world’s leading research institutions. This is more than a geographical connection—it is a connection to the ideas that are helping shape the future of business, management, and the global economy.

As part of Vietnam Report, VEF inherits more than two decades of accumulated expertise in business rankings, market surveys, and corporate research. This robust data foundation enables VEF not only to reflect market developments, but also to explain the underlying forces driving them.

VEF is also being developed as a multilingual platform in English, Vietnamese, and Japanese. High-value content will extend beyond domestic audiences through translation and publication for business leaders, academics, and policymakers across the United States, Japan, Europe, and other major economic centers. In doing so, the stories of Vietnamese enterprises will have the opportunity to become part of the global conversation.

At its core, VEF is committed to rigorous research, editorial independence, and enduring intellectual value—content that remains relevant long after the news cycle has passed.

VEF is further connected to the broader AIWS ecosystem, including Trust Infrastructure, AI Pioneers, and a global network of AI thought leaders. Through these connections, VEF seeks to introduce Vietnam’s business community to pioneering ideas in artificial intelligence, corporate governance, and innovation in the digital era.

VEF’s editorial content is organized into three primary sections.

Enterprise serves as a dedicated knowledge hub featuring in-depth analyses, research, corporate profiles, case studies, and long-form features exploring how Vietnamese businesses create sustainable value.

Markets & the AI Era provides analysis of industries, sectors, and market developments, identifying emerging opportunities, new business models, and long-term trends while expanding its coverage to the United States, Japan, and other major global economic centers.

Global Business Perspectives introduces new ideas from international business leaders, innovators, and scholars, while presenting academic dialogues and initiatives that strengthen connections between Vietnamese enterprises and the global business community.

For every company that partners with VEF, our ambition extends beyond telling a corporate story.

We seek to place that story within the larger transformation of the economy, connect it with the world’s leading intellectual perspectives, and contribute to ensuring that the value created by Vietnamese businesses is recognized, discussed, and shared on the global stage.

That is the essence of Vantage—a vantage point elevated enough to see further, understand more deeply, and build broader connections.
